First I want to say that the people working here are extremely friendly. The service was outstanding. Two stars for two reasons: 1. I know better than to order a Philly cheesesteak anywhere except Philly. Most people might not think there is a big difference but there is! This cheesesteak was fresh, served hot, and looked great. Too bad the flavor of the sandwich doesn't compare with a true Philly Cheesesteak. I must say however the tomato bisque I had was fantastic. I should have stopped there. 2. Despite taking advantage of the free cookie, free fountain drink Yelp Check-in offer, a cup of soup, cheese steak & an order of fries with tip was $17.00. Far too expensive for a lunch sandwich. I will most likely come back and try a different menu item. I ordered the wrong thing today.

This place is located right near my job so I go often for lunch and sometimes breakfast. Everyone is very friendly and my fave dishes include the grilled cheese and the quesadillas!

Commercial Point Café is located in a hidden shopping center and without really knowing about it, it will be missed, but I somehow managed to find it. Commercial Point Café serves simple diner food in a very casual restaurant. I had the Triple Decker Turkey Club which was pretty memorable for an everyday sandwich, likely because it was quality carved meat and not sandwich slices. The sandwich was good, but the fries were horrible. The Philly Cheeses Steak my friend ate had him raving about how good it was.

Cute little clean, mom and pop type cafe. I had an amazing egg white omelet and toasted croissant. Service was great too. Now if they could just open up in California.

This place lived up to the great reviews. Its not fancy but our server was fantastic and our omlettes even better!

In town for some training and our instructor recommended this place. The food tasted really fresh and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend for anyone looking for something other than national chains to get a great meal. The burgers looked really good, I had a garden salad with grilled chicken. It was very good. Go check em out!

Had the greek salad with chicken. Wow! So fresh. Definitely coming back. Prices are reasonable.

I'm glad we used Yelp to find this place. We're visiting family and wanted to eat lunch. My wife, two boys and I were looking for something our boys would eat and we were pretty hungry. The decor was ok, more of a after thought, the people were friendly, the food was good. We ordered the French dip, chicken sandwich, two bowls of. Chicken noodle soup, and a hot dog. Everything looked and tasted good. Not spectacular but a solid meal, chicken and roast was juicy and not dry. If your from out of town and looking for a solid lunch, Commercial Point Cafe is worth it. Check-in for a free drink and cookie

Now here is a totally Yelp friendly place (25% off with a Yelp check in!!!) place I didn't have any problem becoming a fan of. Not only is it Yelp friendly but just downright totally friendly. Situated way in the back of Commercial Point Plaza it's a sort of sit down diner food type of establishment but with far better than diner food along with a super nice, totally efficient, professional and helpful wait staff. They have a really big totally complete menu offering along with daily specials. I went for one of their daily specials being the brisket sliders and coleslaw both of which I found to be really tasty. Now here's a kicker. After having had a nice meal, I suddenly realized that I had forgotten my wallet. Ugh! How embarrassing, but to my surprise that didn't turn out to be any problem at all. When I explained my situation I simply got a very kind "Oh, you can just come back and pay me later or, if you like, just phone me up and give me your credit card number." How totally nice and understanding could they be? Like I was expecting to have to leave my watch, one of my slightly used lovers (but then who would want any of them?) or something for collateral; or that I would have gotten the "Ah ha! The old forgot my wallet routine" type of response, but no, they couldn't have been nicer. And then, when I did come back to pay them, I discovered that my waitress had mentioned to the cashier that I had been on Yelp so she then deducted 25% from my bill. I've never ever been treated better than this.

OMG they have the best grits ever! The service is super friendly and I think I'm almost a regular. Portions are plentiful and it's a great local place. They send out regular texts with their specials, which makes it easy to know when to go. They offer a Yelp check-in special which is cool too. So glad Yelp helped me find this place!

Good food, frequently get delivery to the office. Consistent quality and freshness. I've had no bad experiences. Usually go with the turkey club, comes with a large helping of turkey, good bacon ratio, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Also comes with a side. Breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, salads always come quick. Gmthey usually have multiple soups every day. Always get custom orders right too, which is important.

I quite enjoyed my visit to Commercial Point Café. I came here last Tuesday morning with my mom. I had purchased a Groupon for Commercial Point Café a few weeks before expecting that Sam and I would be able to use it for a Saturday or Sunday breakfast together. In fact, Sam and I tried to go one Sunday morning. When we walked up to the door only to see a large "Closed" sign, we were sorely disappointed. Turns out they are only open during the week. I thought about asking Groupon for a refund as I had no idea when I would ever be free on a weekday morning with my work schedule. Luckily, or rather unluckily, for me I had a tonsillectomy 2 weeks ago and my mom was in town to take care of me during my recovery. I had the week off work and I was managing very well, so I decided it would be a good idea for my mom and I to have breakfast together with the Commercial Point Café Groupon. I'm very glad we did. We got there around 9am on Tuesday and the place was pretty dead. We were the only diners. The environment is very sterile, with bright fluorescent lights and a very plain gray and white color scheme and not much on the walls. The servers were all very nice. The menu is fairly small, but they have all of the breakfast essentials. I ordered a cup of hot tea, pancakes and scrambled eggs (I could only eat soft foods because of the surgery. If not for the surgery I probably would've ordered a breakfast sandwich). My mom ordered a glass of fresh OJ, an omelet with spinach, swiss, onions and mushrooms and a bowl of grits. The food came out very fast. I thought my eggs and pancakes were great . My mom loved her omelet and grits. We both agreed that the environment wasn't very comfortable. The food and service were great, but it wasn't a comfy breakfast place that you would want to hang out at. I think if I were to come back I'd probably just do take out or delivery. I also want to mention that my mom and I did not use the full value of the Groupon. Instead of just ringing us up and not mentioning the leftover credit, our very kind waitress told us that we should order more to get the full value. We ended up ordering 3 of their homemade cookies- 2 sugar and 1 chocolate chocolate chip. The cookies were awesome!! They definitely left me wanting more. I really wish this place was open on the weekend :(

A cute little spot with a friendly staff. I had a simple egg salad sandwich on a ciabatta roll with steamed veggies. Delicious! I only wish they served breakfast after 10:30. I was craving an omelette!

Delivery is fast! But lately the service has been weird. They answer the phone and either hang up on you, or put you on hold without saying anything. The orders have been wrong once they arrive, OR they just totally don't see your online order and when you call they say "oh we didn't see it". I used to order from them all the time but because of the inconsistency I've shied away from ordering.

I came here to meet a business associate. I didn't plan on eating but my associate said the food was great. He wasn't kidding. First things first. The menu is a build your own type of sty up. You can build your breakfast or lunch anyway you want. That was a relief to me. I ordered two scrambled eggs, 3 strips of bacon and grits. The eggs were very creamy and flavorful. The bacon tasted like out was just made and the grits were made with milk and of was so creamy with amazing texture. The waitress takes the order with am iPad so it is sent directly to the cook the second you order it. The restaurant has been there over 20 years and is family owned. Most of their customers are within a 5 mile radius and come by word of mouth. While I was there many people were welcomed by name like Cheers and there was a genuine care and concern for their lives and ongoing. I will definitely come back here and will recommend this place to my friends. To anyone who has never been here they are east of 441 on the North side of commercial blvd behind the Comfort Inn. #29 in the back of the buildings with the blue tops. Hope that helps. The do cater and are open for lunch and breakfast.

Good friendly atmosphere. We missed full breakfast, they only serve breakfast sandwiches during lunch hour. Will return to experience breakfast sandwich and fruit is good.

I've ordered delivery from here twice now. I'm very impressed with the value. Prices are great. Seems like I get a lot of food for a good price. The signature salad is very good and the Flatbread pizza is yummy. I love the Hummus. Blt was a bit plain but that may have been my fault for not ordering mayo. I love the Hummus and Pita but I would not recommend the gyro platter. Unfortunately the gyro is more like steak ems and the tzatsiki sauce is runny. Everything else is great though :)

I found this spot on my way back from my tax consultant. They have the best cookies I ever had so far. Breakfast was cheap and good. The coffee was the only downer. I make a better brew at home in my pot. Over all the food won't disappoint.

Talk about stupidity. While "some" employees do have great service, some are just as dumb as rocks. I went in for a simple coffee and bagel. Simple enough right? WRONG! I ordered a bagel, not toasted with cream cheese. No need to heat and coffee is just a pour. It took them nearly 12 min to complete my order. For 3 dollars a bagel w cream cheese you would figure they would put the cream cheese on for you at least. Nope. They give u a commercial brand and a fork to spread ur cream cheese. Not even a knife. Both my bagels came toasted after I requested not to and I had to do the work myself. The girl at the counter, Jessica, said I had to but something else because I didn't meet the 5 dollar minimum. I asked how much my tab was and she said 4.98. So for 2 cents I had to buy another item and she claimed that is what management had her do and he was in the back kitchen that day. Would never go back and don't recommend this place at all. But service is nice from some.

Did I leave South Florida? Am I in a quaint town with small diners and polite drivers? I don't think so because I just came from the department of driver licenses and need some lunch, fast! The reviews for this place alone drove me to it . Then the food, atmosphere and service solidified the good decision. The food is totally uncomplicated with a lot of different chicken options on the menu. I live with someone who is practically a chicekntarian so that's good. One chicken philly, one chicken sandwich and three cookies later we left really happy and hoping to need to be in the neighborhood again so we can hang out at this place some more. Such a nice, friendly, tasty spot!

Found this gem thru yelp, very clean and nice ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious, service was on point. Freshly squeezed oj, all the veggies in the omlets are fresh, the fruit all fresh. And the portion sizes are phenomenal. Definitely recommend.

Found this place in a whim, sort of nestled in a plaza, easy to miss....but it's close to work and I am glad I found it! Scrambled eggs with broccoli avocado and spinach was wonderful! Coffee hot and nice waitress! Thumbs up!

Great breakfast at this little diner. I had the egg white veggie omelet with hash browns and extra crispy bacon. Everything was cooked to my liking and the service was quick and attentive. The only thing I wasn't crazy about, was when I asked if they had fresh squeezed orange juice they said yes, however, it turns out it was fresh OJ from a bottle. Sorry, but not the same thing....and I wouldn't have ordered that if the server had mentioned it was from a bottle when asked. Everything else was delicious and moderately priced.

Best lunch place uptown period! It's a great place to have lunch with coworkers or clients. Casual, fast, great food, reasonable prices. The service is friendly and top notch. Annie, Bell, Misty and crew are great! Make us feel at home. Great catering as well.

Commercial Point Cafe is a great place for fresh delicious food. I have used them in the past for work catering (aviation), a personal event as well as eat in and take out service. The service is always prompt and courteous; you will always feel welcome. Doug and Patty are wonderful people!

I only get to stop by Commercial Point Cafe once a week for breakfast, when I'm in the area. It is one breakfast, however, that I look forward to all week. Their Omelletes are very good and I get my home fries with sautéed onions that puts it over the top. In addition to really good food, the cafe also has first rate service. Make sure to sit at one of Bell's tables, she is awesome and will make sure you're well taken care of.

What can I say... I love this cafe. I used to work close by and stop in for a quick lunch or late breakfast. Now I only visit when I'm in the area. Home made feel to everything they serve. Wide variety of dishes - from hot meals to sandwiches to huge salads. Everything has a fresh, healthy feel. And the waitresses, many who have been there for years, are always nice and patient. Quick service too. BTW - the owner also has a catering company. At my previous job we use to order sandwiches and wraps from there - always fresh and tasty. But the best kept secret of this place: the cookies! Delicious home made cookies. Get a nice cookie gift basket for the holidays.... you won't regret it! I don't think they are open on weekends or evenings - they cater to the offices in the area for the most part. So if you work nearby, I highly recommend this place.

This is a good family owned restaurant that offers breakfast and lunch. While I have never had breakfast (it goes from 7-10/11am), I have lunch there at least 2-3 xs a month. The food is consistently good, if a bit bland, but you always know what you will get. They offer daily specials, an email club and can get you in a and out in an hour and never feel rushed. The service is friendly, observant and they definitely have their regulars. The deli sandwichs are fresh, and they even offer the choice of turkey off the frame, or deli turkey- nice! They have pretty good hambugers (don't hope for med rare- they try but they are always medium by the time you get them) but the buns are fresh and the fries are good. Tuna salad is plain, but again, you can always count on it. Salads are popular, soups are ok- NE clam chowder was too thick barely any clams, and no flavor. They only make it on Fridays so I wish it were better. Nice mix- quesadillas, philly cheesesteaks, fresh fruit as a side, or the daily coleslaw (yum). They do have freshly baked cookies, 4 or 5 types and those are a nice way to end the meal. We usually end up here when we don't know what we want- beacuse we can always find something that sounds good. Prices are reasonable and no issues with refills on any drink- those servers are fast! Lunch can be under $10 pretty easily and the diner like atmosphere keeps it casual, but busy, whether on business or not. They also offer delivery and people from our office order pretty regularly. All in all, the best in the area for good, standard food that always tastes good. Give it a try!

What a great little place for lunch I wish it was open on the week ends. I had the chicken soup and it was very good nice and fresh it's the real deal. I also had the tuna melt and it was the best tuna melt I ever had.. again nice and fresh served on perfectly grilled bread and with golden brown fries this place is not easily seen form the street because its its in the back of a plaza with a very long entrance way from the street but worth finding it

This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. great service but what i love most about them is their catering service. I ordered breakfast from Commercial Point and my breakfast not only took an hour to be delivered when I am right next door, but my toast was burnt and soggy, my scrambled eggs were mushy and my hash browns were burnt on the outside and mushy in the middle. Awful experience!

Consistently good food and great service. Some of my favorites include the fish sandwich and green beans. The house made chips are ok but not my fav. Usually specials are worth trying. The skirt steak was good but not the best I've had.

We stopped in here after reading the Yelp reviews. We were super hungry after a red eye flight and it sounded good. It was! I had the Gyro plate. It was super yummy! My husband had a juicy cheeseburger and wolfed it down it was so good. The cafe doesn't look like much when you walk in, but the food is really good and the service was super friendly. I got to chatting with the owner and the cashier. They were really helpful with information about the surrounding area and just super nice people. The cafe even has some squirrel mascots that you can feed peanuts to outside. The only reason I took a star off (and I actually wish it could be only half a star) is that my husband said the men's restroom was dirty. The women's was clean though.

We don't live in the area, but will be sure to have lunch here each time we visit the area. Our friends live here so we have told them too! I had the chicken pesto sandwich with a cranberry orange cole slaw. Fabulous! My husband had the Chicken Caprese sandwich and it was excellent too. Very good service, super clean, and decorated nice for the holidays. Highly recommend!

Truly homemade food, visited from Maryland and saw great reviews for this restaurant and it was delicious!!! My hubby got a steak and cheese, I got a cheese burger- ordered extra fries after tasting how hot and fresh they were! The burger was juicy and the bun was toasted to perfection. We both noticed how fresh the bread was. The ice tea was perfectly brewed and also fresh! The service was warm and welcoming! This place is a must!
